Saves you hundreds of pounds a year

According to a Department of Energy and Climate change report (BRE report number 287473)*, the average home with a conservatory burns 4800kWh units more of gas compared to homes without conservatories.

A properly insulated conservatory (based on a Low-E insulation) will reduce its heat loss by around 90% This will result in a saving of around 4320kWh of heating costs.

Based on an average kWh unit price of £0.0751 (USwitch)** (July 2023) this means the average home with a properly insulated conservatory could save over £325 per year.
